As an HR Business Partner, in this role you will be performing the HR general functions, including Learning & Development.


Main responsibilities:

  • Partner with the leaders in all matters related to people management to enable the business to operate effectively and ensure the timely identification of issues/trends and proposal of solutions
  • Understand the business strategies and identifies opportunities to improve organizational capability and operational efficiency
  • Drive the talent management through identification of talent pool candidates, promoting career development, coaching, and development planning; support company branding and community support activities
  • Drive culture change to align the organization with Eaton’s strategy and philosophy
  • Advocate communication processes to enable an open working environment
  • Drive recruitment and develop recruitment practices in cooperation with Eaton’s Talent Acquisition Team
  • Participate in manpower planning and control
  • Actively participate in Inclusion & Diversity and Employer Branding activities
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders throughout the EMEA -region and participate in various EMEA - wide activities and projects
  • Assist and guide managers on Labour Relations matters including managing poor performance and CCMA cases.
  • Coordinate Learning & Development activities, including managing Student Development Programmes
  • All SETA legislative requirements’ i.e. Skills Development Facilitation SDF functions (Workplace Skills Plan WSP, Annual Training Report ATR and Facilitations skills)
  • BEE Skills Development Champion
  • Manage Employee Wellness for the Campus
  • Proactively drive other HR initiatives and activities based on your own skills and wishes

Qualifications:

  • Degree/ Diploma in HR and Labour Relations or a similar discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in generalist HR in a manufacturing environment and / or international company
  • Skills Development Facilitator SDF experience and Facilitation skills are required
  • Student Development Programmes experience is required

Skills:

  • Knowledge of Labour Legislation, e.g. LRA, BCEA, EE Act, Skills Development Act & BBBEEE
  • Ideally SAP experience
  • Good knowledge and understanding of HR systems, practices
  • Computer literacy, proficiency in Excel and ability to deliver presentations
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, in a matrix environment
  • Ability to be a change agent for the organisation, strong agility to adapt to various business needs
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good planning and organisation skills
  • Fluent level of English language
