The Role

We are seeking an experienced individual for the role of Finance Manager (Second Spectrum). This role is key to ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reporting requirements, strengthening the capability of the Second Spectrum team and forging a finance function that drives the business to success.

The role is expected to be primarily remote. The role requires a high level of interaction with Group and other finance teams, non-finance teams and with third parties as necessary.

Job Description

  • Reports directly to Regional Financial Controller – Americas & Second Spectrum
  • Support and development of the Second Spectrum accounting team, including 2 direct reports
  • Development of Workday Financials / reduction in reliance on Excel
  • Improvements in Finance Processes
  • Support in the creation and improvement of SOX controls to ensure SOX compliance
  • Support the submission and presentation of monthly Regional results including P&L, Balance Sheet and supporting information
  • Responsible for cost reporting and relevant analysis
  • Ensuring all accounting is in line with required GAAP and Group policy
  • Supporting SEC reporting team in US GAAP reporting
  • Supporting RFC in completion of local Audits
  • Review and improvement of Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Other Ad hoc work as initiated or required
