1. Driving sales in relation to the products, by ensuring that the outlets are optimally indexed on all products listed by the network(s), and that the customers are adequately trained and registered on the Incentive Scheme, ensure any stock and pricing issues are escalated to your line manager and that the Point of Sale (“POS”) material is in place.
2. Delivering effective training to outlets on a monthly basis before the stores open for formal trade in the morning, and performing one-on-one training sessions with customers in outlets, when calling on said outlets as prescribed in the channel focus strategy or Group Training Sessions as requested by the Outlets’ Regional or Head Office Levels
3. Daily reports due – sales tracker and stock on hand per mall / store, staff and asset tracker; weekly reports – competitor activity, retail mapping and regional / area review
4. Negotiation for best position for Point-of-Sale Material placement for the products within outlets – Retail / Postpaid
5. Ensure that all dummy and live handsets are authorized for placement by the Networks and Outlets and are available, charged and securely on display.
6. Providing selected outlets with LDU/Dummy handsets, as and when requested by the company
7. Ensure that all POSM is correctly placed and is relevant to an outlet and compliant with the Network rules
8. Provide daily updates on targeted outlet stock levels and sell-out of vivo products and its identified competitor models
9. Representations for vivo to all networks, their service providers, outlets and customers in the territory
10. Calling on all targeted outlets within the allocated territory as per the agreed call cycle diary, unless otherwise instructed by vivo to apply the call cycle as a point-of-sale blitz exercise or other ‘hit and move on’ exercises as and when required
Desired Experience & Qualification
Min 3 Years Telecommunications Sales experience
Regional Manager experience will be an advantage
National Senior Certificate (Matric Certificate)
Tertiary qualification - advantage
Strong communication skills
Self motivated
Strong admin skills with basic excel knowledge
PowerPoint knowledge
Extrovert
Valid drivers license (Code B)
