Summary

As the Director of Food & Beverage, you will be a pivotal member of our leadership committee, directly reporting to the General Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and elevate all aspects of the Food & Beverage department, creating a world-class dining experience that complements the natural beauty of our resort.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Food & Beverage department that aligns with the overall resort goals. Drive innovation and creativity in menu concepts, dining experiences, and service offerings.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of all dining venues and bars ensuring seamless service and maintaining the highest standards of quality and hygiene.
  • Inspire and lead a team of passionate professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and support to ensure all team members reach their full potential.
  • Be the ambassador of exceptional guest experiences, anticipating and exceeding guest expectations through personalized service and attention to detail.
  • Develop and manage budgets, revenue forecasts, and cost controls for the Food & Beverage department. Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
  • Champion sustainable practices and support local suppliers to source the finest ingredients and beverages, promoting environmental and community stewardship.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Director of Food & Beverage or similar leadership role within luxury hospitality.
  • Extensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including fine dining and mixology
  • Strong business acumen and financial acuity with experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse team.
  • A passion for delivering extraordinary guest experiences and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting business records and statistical reports.
  • Aptitude for making well-informed business decisions based on production reports, factual data, and personal experience.
  • Prior experience in the Maldives or remote locations will be considered a valuable asset.

The position will be based in Alila Kothaifaru Maldives ( Located in Raa Atoll )
