Food Production Supervisor (Nights) [United Kingdom]


 

Working Sunday to Thursday inclusive, 10 pm to 6 am - this is a night position

Job Purpose:

To work with the Kitchen and Ops team to assist in preparing and delivering an effective week day service to our corporate clients and our sandwich van preparation

Overall Tasks and Responsibilities

  • To oversee and manage the production of all sandwiches and fresh food for our sandwich vans / corporate lunches
  • To assist and oversee the packing, checking and loading all corporate lunches ready for delivery
  • Keen attention to detail ensuring all dietaries and allergens are catered for accordingly
  • To prepare food, stock requirements and planning for our daily sandwich vans
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
  • Knowledge of food production methods and techniques
  • To plan ahead with packing for logistics and deliveries, ensuring a smooth process for our ops team
  • To assist in using Saffron’s internal Audit form process to assess corporate contracts, then working with the team to analyse the audit and make improvements if required
  • Follow all health and safety procedures including correct manual handling procedures
  • To work as part of a diverse team and provide resilience for other team members when required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Catering: 1 year (preferred)
  • Food production: 1 year (preferred)
